Matthieu a commencé en tant que R&D Ingineer avec notamment un passage à l'INA. En 2006, il rejoint Dailymotion en tant qu'Architecte avant de partir chez Pixmania afin de devenir Head of Infrastructure and Production. Après +2 ans là bas, il prend un poste à l'infrastructure chez Criteo. Il y occupe aujourd'hui le poste de VP Engineering Infrastructure.
Matthieu Blumberg fait partie du réseau de managers Avizio qui participent au renouveau du recrutement.
